Minecraft on OUYA is a thing! Thanks to @Ryo_Saeba for his Minecraft PE 1.9 PORT
Game info: The game is 85.45 MB big. THE GAME IS NOT OFFICIAL
Gameplay: It’s playable at 30-45 FPS. The TNT test proved that it doesn’t crash with 180 TNT blocks, but during the explosion, it runs at 15-25 FPS. It doesn’t crash during the explosion itself.
However: During menu screens, there can be some crashes.
But: once you’re in a world, the game doesn’t crash at all, even with 180 TNT as described above.

Problem: The R2 and L2 triggers are not recognized by the game.
Solution: Map the break and place functions to the L1 and R1 buttons.

Problem: If the R1 and L1 buttons are assingned, you can’t use the hotbar for now.
Solution: just map it to the left and right D-Pad buttons.
However: If you press the D-pad twice without moving, it doesn’t continue. This is due to the game doesn’t recognize it very well too.
Quick fix: After pressing the D-Pad twice without moving, briefly move the L-stick in any direction, and it should continue.

Problem: Another problem is the skins; they can’t be changed via the dressing room (only standart skins are available).
Solution: Unfortunately, I haven’t found a possible solution yet. I tried using a texture pack (swapping steve.png against a custom skin also named steve.png), but that didn’t work. I think I’m doing something wrong.

Problem: Map can’t be seen very well. I think that this is an grafik bug
Solution: I have no sulution for this one

Why are there problems?: The problems arise because this version of the game has many bugs.

Newer versions of the game?: Yes, that would be possible.
But: Unfortunately, the Ouya only has the Nvidia Tegra 3 chip. It can barely run version 1.9, hence only almost. Furthermore, only earlier and this version can recognize the Ouya controller.

Texture packs: I made a UI texture pack that makes the UI look like i’ts the ouya edition.
But: reguler packs wil also work
